The Chamber goes to Greece 2020!

The Strait Area Chamber of Commerce is thrilled to announce Greece as the first international destination for the 2020 Chamber Travel Program! We are departing from Halifax (YHZ) to the land of the Zeus on April 8th for 8-days of island hopping through Piraeus – Mykonos – Santorini, sightseeing in Athens, exploring the dorment Nea Kameni Volcano and sipping wine at 3 family-owned wineries in Santorini. This is a great opportunity to learn more about the cradle of western civilization, birthplace of democracy, the creators of theater drama and the Olympic Games.

  • Departure from Halifax: April 8th 2020
  • Returning to Halifax: April 17th 2020
  • Price for Chamber Members: $3199 (Includes: all international and domestic flights; arrival and departure transfers; and 8 nights in 4-start hotels with breakfast)
  • Price for Future Chamber Members: $3349 (Includes: all international and domestic flights, arrival and departure transfers and 8 nights in 4-start hotels with breakfast)
  • Single Supplement: $699
  • Deposit: $500 non-refundable

Read this Before you Book!


  • Make sure your passport is valid before the departure date!
  • Canadians and Americans are allowed to stay in Greece for up to three months without a visa.
  • For your convenience, the departure and arrival are from the Halifax (YHZ) airport. If you wish to depart or arrive from another airport please contact us for the arrangements (extra costs will apply).
  • We do not provide transportation to and from the Halifax (YHZ) airport.
  • Upon registration you are required to either pay the full amount ($3199 or $3349) or a $500 non-refundable deposit. The remaining amount will be charged 90-days before the trip.
  • Upon booking you may add optional tour experiences to your trip at extra cost.
