CELTIC OKTOBERFEST 2019
October 12, 2019
Port Hawkesbury Civic Centre
The Strait Area Chamber of Commerce is proud to be celebrating their 6th year of Celtic Oktoberfest – Cape Breton’s first ever all inclusive craft beer, local food and Celtic music gathering!
Recognizing the growing strength of the emerging craft brewery sector, and its impact on tourism in the region, the Strait Area Chamber created Celtic Oktoberfest to showcase the best of Nova Scotian craft beer and Cape Breton food. The addition of a local winery broadens the appeal of the event which attracts approximately 400 people each year.
For the price of a ticket, attendees receive all inclusive access to the highest quality products from nine breweries, a winery, and ten food establishments! Stay Tuned for this year’s vendors!

And, of course, it wouldn’t be a true Cape Breton party if we didn’t have live Celtic music. So, we’ve lined up some awesome musicians to take the stage and make this night one to remember! We kick things off with Abbey Mullendore, Barry Fougere, and Allister Cameron from the band BRIDGES. Following BRIDGES we are excited to welcome back JESUS MURPHY! A few years ago they rocked out some amazing Irish / Celtic tunes and we are sure it will be just as exciting this year!
Sorry we are SOLD OUT this year – get your tickets early next year!
